Background: I am a Twin Ports native who grew up in a bilingual household speaking both Spanish and English. I earned my Bachelor’s with majors in Psychology and Organizational Behavior from The College of St. Scholastica in 2019. As an undergraduate student, I worked and interned at the Career Services Office. I did research on internships in the Duluth community and became passionate about helping students in the job and internship search process.
As the Employer Engagement Coordinator, I connect employers from the local to national levels with UMD students and alumni. I work with employers to meet the career exploration and recruitment needs of students by hosting events that bridge the gap between students and employers, such as career fairs, on-campus interviews, and information sessions.
Areas of Expertise: I enjoy building connections, leveraging Handshake, and working with others to increase opportunities for the Bulldog and Duluth communities.
Interests: I love to travel, read, spend time with family and friends, and try new activities and foods! I enjoy being outdoors throughout the seasons in the city of Duluth by skiing, hiking on the beautiful trails, kayaking, spending time at the beach, and participating in various sports.
