Career & Internship Services hosts events throughout the year. We also promote events in our region hosted by others and are open to UMD students and alumni.
Virtual Drop-in Hours
Drop-ins are on hiatus for the summer months.
Virtual Drop-in Hours are via Zoom on a first-come, first-serve basis for quick questions.
Weekly Schedule & Topics:
Mondays & Tuesdays: Career questions
Wednesdays: Handshake & virtual fair questions
Time: 1-3 PM
Note: You will enter through a waiting room and be admitted. Typical wait time is less than 15 minutes.

- Quick question. Your question doesn't need a full appointment.
- Tight turnaround. Questions for tomorrow's interview, follow-up questions from a job fair, practice elevator pitch, etc.
- Final document review. Resume/CV, cover letter, email wording to an employer, etc. For a more in-depth review submit to our document review.
- Unsure about your major or undecided? Need immediate advice on next steps. Drop in today!
