Background: I earned a BAA in Teaching French & Spanish with a minor in Dance from UMD, an MS in Counseling from Creighton University, and an EdD in Higher Education from Concordia University-Portland. My research project was Cultural Brokering: Insights to College Career Counselors from Colleagues in Diversity Offices and I enjoy applying these insights to my work. My work experience has entailed working with students, ages middle school through college, with emphasis on teaching, counseling, and inclusive practices.
