Handshake is UMD's primary platform for connecting employers with students and managing recruiting opportunities.
Employers can use Handshake to:

Career Fairs
Career fairs are a great way to meet a wide range of UMD students and promote your organization and open positions.
UMD hosts two career fairs each fall and two each spring, offering opportunities to connect with students from a variety of majors and career interests. Employers can register through Handshake to participate.
Interviews
Interview UMD students through same-day and next-day interviews held in conjunction with career fairs, as well as interviews scheduled through Handshake.
Volunteer Fair
Connect with UMD students interested in making an impact through volunteer and service opportunities. The Volunteer Fair provides employers and community organizations with an opportunity to connect with students and promote volunteer, service, and community engagement opportunities.

UMD has many 200+ student organizations that are open to connecting with employers for presentations, panels, networking, workshops, and other events. This is a great way to reach students with specific academic, professional, or career interests.
